III. Colophon

Why this website?

It is witness to the communal trance experince; the ritual dance and the culture that flourishes around it. Di.onys.us is an Apollonian observation of a Dionysian experience, an attempt to record some small scrap of the mystery its participants understand but cannot explain. The magic is fleeting, transitory; here is a reminder that it exists.
